The one and only, flamboyant, artistic, skilful, maverick, Frank Worthington, seen here gaining one of his eight England International Caps, against Scotland during the Home International Championships, at Hamden Park on 18th May 1974. Frank scored twice for his Country during this period in an extremely colourful career, and would surely have secured many more Caps (and goals), if it wasn’t for Don Revie being appointed as England Manager towards the end of the same year! Frank played the game, as he did life itself, with flair and artistry, ever willing to entertain , and to this day, Frank always “looks on the bright side of life”!
